Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Welcome to Skin Education & Wellness. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our services and website. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Appointments and Cancellations

1.1 Booking Policy

All treatments require prior booking via phone, email, or other contact methods listed on the website.

1.2 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 8 hours prior to the appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 8 hours’ notice will result in:
- For single appointments: Forfeiture of any prepaid amounts.
- For gift vouchers: The voucher will be deemed redeemed.
If a client is running late, it would be greatly appreciated if they inform me in advance.
If a client is more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be shortened or canceled, and the full treatment fee will still apply.
No-Shows: If a client does not show up without explanation, I reserve the right to refuse future bookings.

2. Payments

Payments must be made in full at the time of service.
Payment Options: Cash, card, or other specified methods are accepted.
Prepayment: Prepayment is available and can be used toward appointments. If a no-show occurs, the prepayment will be forfeited.

3. Gift Vouchers

Validity Period
- Gift vouchers are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase, as per the Consumer Protection (Gift Vouchers) Act 2019.
Non-Refundable
- Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Partial Use of Vouchers
- You do not need to spend the full value of the voucher in one visit. Any remaining balance will be reissued on a new voucher or refunded via cash or electronic transfer, as required by Irish law.
Treatment Flexibility
- If a specific treatment is listed on the voucher, it can be replaced with another treatment of the same value.
- If the client chooses a more expensive treatment, the difference must be paid.
- If the treatment becomes more expensive over time, there will be no additional charge to the client.
Treatment Price Changes
- Treatments and prices may change. If the voucher holds a monetary value and the client wishes to book a treatment that now costs more, the current price will apply, and the client will need to pay the difference.
Honoring Client Needs
- I will make every effort to accommodate and honor vouchers in a way that suits my clients’ needs, offering alternatives if necessary.
Cancellations
- Appointments booked with a gift voucher must be canceled at least 8 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the voucher.
- Cancellations made less than 8 hours before the appointment will result in the voucher being forfeited.
Lost or Stolen Vouchers
- Skin Education & Wellness is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers.
Booking Information
- To redeem a voucher, clients must book in advance using the contact details provided on the voucher.
Compliance with Irish Law
- All terms comply with the Consumer Protection (Gift Vouchers) Act 2019. Vouchers issued for promotional purposes, refunds, or part of loyalty programs may have separate terms.

4. Packages and Treatments

Availability
- Packages are available from January and are valid until March 15th, 2025.
Waxing Treatments
- For packages that include waxing, Full Hollywood Wax and Full Leg Wax are not included.
Facial Treatments
- The high-frequency wand may be used during facials; however, it is not suitable for all clients due to certain contraindications. This will be discussed during the consultation to ensure it is safe and appropriate for you.
Customizable Packages
- Packages are flexible and customizable:
  - If any treatment in the package is not suitable for you, I will happily suggest alternatives of equal value.
  - Should you prefer a treatment of lower value, adjustments can be made to accommodate your needs.
Suitability of Treatments
- In some cases, certain treatments offered may not be the best fit for you. I will work with you to find a similar treatment or an option that aligns with the package’s value.
Gift Vouchers
- Packages can be purchased using a gift voucher. Vouchers are subject to separate terms and conditions, including a validity period of 5 years in accordance with Irish law.
Consultations
- All treatments include a consultation to ensure safety, suitability, and optimal results tailored to your needs.

Packages are flexible: if a treatment is unsuitable, I will recommend alternatives of equal value.

5. Loyalty Program

Buy 5 Treatments, Get the 6th Free:
- This applies to the same type of treatment. For example, if you purchase 5 lash treatments, the 6th free treatment must also be a lash treatment.
Pre-Pay for 5 Treatments, Get 2 Additional Free:
- This offer applies to pre-paying for the same treatment. You must choose one treatment to pre-pay for, and the 2 additional free treatments will be the same as the 5 paid treatments.
Other Treatments Discount (e.g., Nails, Waxing):
- After completing 5 different treatments, you are eligible for €10 off your next appointment. This discount applies to similar treatments. For example, if you have 5 nail treatments, the €10 discount must be redeemed on another nail treatment, or if you got different treatments, you can pick one of those to redeem your discount.
Referral Discount:
- Referrals must be new clients. The €5 discount will be applied after the referred client completes their first treatment.

6. Health and Safety

Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect treatment during the consultation.
Treatments may be refused if deemed unsafe for the client’s well-being.

7. Links to Other Websites

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by Skin Education & Wellness.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that Skin Education & Wellness is not responsible for any damage caused by reliance on such content or services.

We strongly encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.

Provisions that survive termination include, but are not limited to, ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

9. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

9.1 Data Collection

We collect personal data solely for providing treatments, bookings, and client safety.

9.2 Usage and Security

All personal data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

9.3 Client Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
Withdraw consent for data usage.

10. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your own risk. The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be resolved under Irish jurisdiction.

Our failure to enforce any right will not be considered a waiver. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining Terms will remain in effect.

12. Changes to Terms

Skin Education & Wellness reserves the right to update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services or website constitutes acceptance of these updated Terms.
