Biologically, stress happens when cortisol levels increase.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Difficult life situations, overthinking, unconscious projections towards people and things that surround us, lifestyle, diet \u2013 affect us in a way or another.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/eKb8BUkCJS4vFNVp7y\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"416\" height=\"416\"\/><figcaption><em>Life during the pandemic<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s the disease of the century. We started to acknowledge it as part of our life, dealing with it daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, how conscious are we about it? By all means, stress is affecting our nervous system, and that creates inflammation in our bodies (+other bad stuff).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How the body prepares to respond when stress hormones are released? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nerd alert!<\/strong> Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Epinephrine (adrenaline)<\/strong> <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Involved with flight or fight response that increases metabolism <strong>&#8211;&gt;<\/strong> higher cardiac rhythm and glucose levels in the blood, but also alters immunity and inflammation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. <strong>Adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) &#8211;&gt;<\/strong> helps cortisol to be released and stimulates melanin (MSH) \u2013 that is why there&#8217;s people suffering from severe hyperpigmentation caused by stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. <strong>Cortisol &#8211;&gt; <\/strong>releases inflammatory neuropeptides and they\u2019re enjoying it. These neuropeptides love inflammation, redness, and flushing!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-red-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fun-fact-not-really\"><strong>FUN FACT (not really) <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-did-you-know-that-the-higher-amount-of-cortisol-in-your-body-the-more-delayed-your-skin-s-barrier-recovery-is\">Did you know that the higher amount of cortisol in your body, the more delayed your skin\u2019s barrier recovery is?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-according-to-a-study-stress-reduces-skin-s-healing-process-with-30-you-wonder-why-you-get-all-red-feeling-that-heat-all-over-and-swelling-when-you-are-constantly-stressed\">&nbsp;According to a study, stress reduces skin\u2019s healing process with 30%. You wonder why you get all red, feeling that heat all over and swelling when you are constantly stressed?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Some common skin conditions triggered by stress hormones are breakouts, dehydration, redness, aging, and pigmentation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-can-you-do\">WHAT CAN YOU DO?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/skineducation.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-from-rawpixel-id-429778-jpeg-684x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Nature, away from stress, stressed skin, \" class=\"wp-image-654\" width=\"279\" height=\"418\"\/><figcaption><em>Just Imagine Yourself between these trees<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Yoga;<\/li><li>Meditation;<\/li><li>Work on hobbies;<\/li><li>Give work the exact time it\u2019s needed to be done, not more (unless it&#8217;s your passion);<\/li><li>&#8220;Me time&#8221;;<\/li><li>Essential Oils; <\/li><li>Eat healthy. Discover and try tasty recipes; <\/li><li>Look for things that brings you happiness, gratefulness and kindness;<\/li><li>Connect with the nature more. Listen to it. Go, explore, walk, run, exercise.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-skin-care-stress\">Skin Care &amp; Stress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You are continuously changing &#8211; so does your skin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stress changes the balance of the gut bacteria which can lead to inflammation, puffiness, sensivity and dullness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Take a step back and breathe.&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Then have a look in your skincare regimen. Be careful about this \u201call clean skincare, no parabens, no nasties\u201d. Some beauty brands are using fear as a marketing tool. That is nasty! To use fear to make you buy. The worst thing that can happen after using a product is to react, or have literally no benefits (plain ingredients). <strong>That&#8217;s why by the end of the day WE WANT RESULTS! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, I only agree in this life with&nbsp;CRUELTY-FREE &#8211; even though since 2014 EU prohibited testing on animals, there are still big companies that tests beauty products on animals &#8211; something I would never support as a consumer\/customer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My advice: research! It is a large misconception about parabens and chemicals, perfumes, etc. There&#8217;s not a single product in the market advertised without being tested and formulated by certified people. They know what they&#8217;re doing. No one is trying to kill you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Um, hello? WE ARE CHEMICALS! Can we just\u2026.can we?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-effective-and-immediate-results-for-your-skin\">5 EFFECTIVE AND IMMEDIATE RESULTS FOR YOUR SKIN. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Bye Bye Stress! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you feel like your skin looks stressed.
