You may qualify for this benefit if you earn income abroad and plan to return to Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romania has one of the best maternity systems in Europe. Although Finland is ranked the top country in Europe for giving birth, Romania offers generous support for new mothers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, you must understand your rights to maximize the allowance, up to 8,500 lei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-the-law-says-about-childcare-allowance\"><strong>What the Law Says About Childcare Allowance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In Romania, emergency Ordinance No. 111\/2010 on childcare allowance states that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Persons who, in the last 2 years before the child&#8217;s birth, have earned at least 12 months of income from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Salaries and similar earnings;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Independent activities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intellectual property rights;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agricultural, forestry, and fishery activities;<br>subject to income tax according to Law No. 227\/2015, benefit from leave for raising a child up to 2 years old (or 3 years in case of a child with disabilities) and a monthly allowance.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The monthly allowance is 85% of the average net income earned in the last 12 months from the 2 years preceding the child&#8217;s birth. The minimum allowance cannot be less than the result of applying a coefficient of 25 to the reference social indicator. The maximum allowance cannot exceed 8,500 lei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, suppose you earned income in Romania and an EU country within the same month (without overlapping work periods). In that case, the amounts from both countries will be considered when granting the childcare leave and allowance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-claim-childcare-allowance-in-romania-while-pregnant-and-living-in-another-eu-country\"><strong>How to Claim Childcare Allowance in Romania While Pregnant and Living in Another EU Country<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t plan to give birth in Romania, you cannot receive the allowance for 2 years (or 3 in case of a child with disabilities).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conditions are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">You live in an EU country (UK is no longer eligible due to Brexit);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">You\u2019ve been employed for 2 years without interruption (you can work in multiple places but must provide tax records showing you&#8217;ve paid taxes);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Your most recent work contract, signed and stamped by the company manager or director;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Tax record from the country where you worked (e.g., in Ireland, you would use Revenue for downloading your tax forms for the last 2 years);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Employment contract in Romania (you must work at least one month in Romania and pay taxes after returning);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Termination decision when you enter maternity leave;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Childcare allowance application (downloadable online);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Declaration from the other parent (usually the father);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Newborn\u2019s birth certificate;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Declaration regarding data processing at the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection (AJPIS);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Copies of ID cards (mother and father);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Marriage certificate (if applicable);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Employment certificate (Anexa 2, provided by your accountant);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Employment report from both your Romanian and foreign job;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Bank account details for receiving the payment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The employment contract and report from abroad must be translated and legalized in Romanian. All documents should be scanned as originals and sent as a single PDF file to AJPIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tips-for-maximizing-your-childcare-allowance\"><strong>Tips for Maximizing Your Childcare Allowance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work as long as possible before entering maternity leave in Romania. Maternity leave is paid by your employer but depends on your contract&#8217;s conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find a skilled accountant familiar with the legal norms. Some may not know the specifics!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you&#8217;ve worked in different EU countries, you&#8217;ll need to contact the financial institutions in those countries to obtain your tax records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The allowance is based on your last year&#8217;s salary before maternity leave. Even if you earned 5,000 euros, you won\u2019t receive more than 8,500 lei, but you\u2019ll also receive 719 lei per month in child support, totaling 9,219 lei per month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The decision can take 1-3 months. You may receive additional document requests, such as a signed resignation to prove no other income in an EU country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, if you give birth in Bucharest, you may receive a municipal bonus of 2,500 lei per child. Rom\u00e2nia are unul dintre cele mai generoase sisteme de maternitate, a\u0219a c\u0103 merit\u0103 s\u0103 v\u0103 cunoa\u0219te\u021bi drepturile \u0219i s\u0103 profita\u021bi de ele pentru a ob\u021bine indemniza\u021bia maxim\u0103 de p\u00e2n\u0103 la 8.500 de lei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide has-text-align-left\" id=\"h-ce-spune-legea-privind-indemnizatia-de-creste-copil\">Ce spune legea privind indemnizatia de creste copil?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ordonan\u021ba de Urgen\u021b\u0103 nr. 111\/2010<\/strong> reglementeaz\u0103 indemniza\u021bia de cre\u0219tere a copilului astfel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Persoanele care, \u00een ultimii 2 ani anteriori na\u0219terii copilului, au realizat cel pu\u021bin 12 luni de venituri supuse impozitului (din salarii, activit\u0103\u021bi independente, drepturi de proprietate intelectual\u0103 etc.), au dreptul la concediu pentru cre\u0219terea copilului de p\u00e2n\u0103 la 2 ani (sau 3 ani \u00een cazul unui copil cu dizabilitati) \u0219i la o indemniza\u021bie lunar\u0103 de 85% din media veniturilor nete realizate \u00een ultimele 12 luni din cei 2 ani anteriori datei na\u0219terii copilului. Cuantumul maxim al indemniza\u021biei nu poate dep\u0103\u0219i 8.500 de lei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mai mult, <strong>Ordonan\u021ba de Urgen\u021b\u0103<\/strong> stipuleaz\u0103 c\u0103, dac\u0103 realizezi venituri at\u00e2t \u00een Rom\u00e2nia, c\u00e2t \u0219i \u00een alte state UE (care aplic\u0103 Regulamentul nr. 883\/2004 privind coordonarea sistemelor de securitate social\u0103) \u00een aceea\u0219i lun\u0103, dar f\u0103r\u0103 suprapunerea perioadelor de activitate, sumele ob\u021binute \u00een ambele \u021b\u0103ri vor fi luate \u00een calcul pentru acordarea indemniza\u021biei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cum-sa-accesezi-indemniza\u021bia-de-crestere-copil-in-romania-daca-e\u0219ti-insarcinata-\u0219i-locuie\u0219ti-in-alta-\u021bara-europeana\">Cum s\u0103 accesezi indemniza\u021bia de crestere copil \u00een Rom\u00e2nia dac\u0103 e\u0219ti \u00eens\u0103rcinat\u0103 \u0219i locuie\u0219ti \u00een alt\u0103 \u021bar\u0103 european\u0103?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Locuie\u0219ti \u00eentr-o \u021bar\u0103 european\u0103<\/strong> (din p\u0103cate, UK nu mai este eligibil dup\u0103 Brexit).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ai muncit timp de 2 ani, f\u0103r\u0103 \u00eentrerupere<\/strong> \u2013 po\u021bi avea mai multe locuri de munc\u0103, dar trebuie s\u0103 aduci fi\u0219a fiscal\u0103 de la o institu\u021bie competent\u0103 care s\u0103 ateste cei 2 ani de munc\u0103.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ultimul contract de munc\u0103<\/strong>, semnat \u0219i \u0219tampilat de angajator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fi\u0219a fiscal\u0103<\/strong> din \u021bara \u00een care ai lucrat \u2013 aceasta trebuie tradus\u0103 \u0219i legalizat\u0103 \u00een rom\u00e2n\u0103.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contract de angajare \u00een Rom\u00e2nia<\/strong> \u2013 trebuie s\u0103 te \u00eentorci \u00een Rom\u00e2nia, s\u0103 te angajezi \u0219i s\u0103 munce\u0219ti cel pu\u021bin o lun\u0103 \u00eenainte de a intra \u00een prenatal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Decizia de \u00eencetare a contractului<\/strong> \u2013 necesar\u0103 c\u00e2nd intri \u00een prenatal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cererea de indemniza\u021bie de cre\u0219tere copil<\/strong> \u2013 se poate desc\u0103rca online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Declara\u021bia celuilalt p\u0103rinte<\/strong> (de obicei pentru tat\u0103).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certificatul de na\u0219tere al copilului nou-n\u0103scut<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Declara\u021bie privind prelucrarea datelor<\/strong> \u2013 pentru AJPIS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Copie de buletin<\/strong> pentru ambii p\u0103rin\u021bi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certificatul de c\u0103s\u0103torie<\/strong>, dac\u0103 este cazul.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adeverin\u021b\u0103 de la locul de munc\u0103<\/strong> (ANEXA nr. 2).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Raport de salariat<\/strong> de la jobul din Rom\u00e2nia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extras de cont<\/strong> pentru plata indemniza\u021biei.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contractul \u0219i raportul de salariat din str\u0103in\u0103tate<\/strong> \u2013 traduse \u0219i legalizate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Toate documentele scanate<\/strong> \u00eentr-un singur fi\u0219ier PDF \u0219i trimise c\u0103tre AJPIS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sfaturi pentru a beneficia de indemniza\u021bia de cre\u0219tere copil<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Munceste c\u00e2t po\u021bi \u00eenainte s\u0103 intri \u00een prenatal. \u00cen Rom\u00e2nia, prenatalul este pl\u0103tit de angajator, dar cite\u0219te bine contractul.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chiar dac\u0103 ai muncit \u00een mai multe \u021b\u0103ri europene, trebuie s\u0103 ob\u021bii fi\u0219ele fiscale de la toate institu\u021biile relevante.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Banii sunt calcula\u021bi pe ultimul an de munc\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 c\u00e2nd intri \u00een prenatal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indemniza\u021bia maxim\u0103 este de 8.500 de lei, dar se adaug\u0103 \u0219i aloca\u021bia copilului de 600 de lei lunar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decizia de acordare a indemniza\u021biei poate dura \u00eentre 1 \u0219i 3 luni.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Este posibil ca institu\u021bia s\u0103 cear\u0103 documente suplimentare, a\u0219a c\u0103 fii preg\u0103tit\u0103.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fiecare job cu acte \u00een regul\u0103 trebuie s\u0103 \u00ee\u021bi furnizeze o fi\u0219\u0103 fiscal\u0103.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dac\u0103 na\u0219ti \u00een Bucure\u0219ti, po\u021bi primi un stimulent de 2.500 de lei de la prim\u0103rie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen concluzie, merit\u0103!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dac\u0103 ai nevoie de ajutor sau ai \u00eentreb\u0103ri, scrie-mi \u00een sec\u021biunea de comentarii sau contacteaza-ma <a href=\"https:\/\/skineducation.eu\/contact-form\/\">aici<\/a>.
